Landlord Review was founded to create an informed, trusted community of tenants that will rate and review previous landlords to protect each other from the bad ones and promote the good ones.
The goals of Landlord Review are to:
- Build an informed and trusted community of tenants that look out for each other by reviewing their landlords, management companies, and other aspects of the tenant experience
- Create a resource to inform tenants of their rights and encourage tenants to exercise those rights when landlords and management companies try to take advantage of tenants
- Put accountability back on the landlords and management companies to improve their apartments and services
- Create a trusted knowledge base of landlord information that is completely free from biased materials

Landlord Review was launched to the world by Zuni Ventures, LLC. in April 2006 and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.
