Landlord Review wants you to be assured that we take your privacy very seriously. We know that the only way to build a community of informed tenants will be
to gain your trust. Trying to make a quick buck by peddling your personal information to some spammer is not only terribly irresponsible of us, but its going
to get you angry at us and ruin our relationship. We're in this for the long-term, and we want you to be too.
The details are below, but rest assured, we aren't going to sell, share or distribute your personal information to any third-party. NOT EVER!
If there are any changes to the privacy policy, those changes will be posted to the website and the registered users will be notified via email.

1. Protecting your privacy
- We don't share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We don't employ tracking devices for marketing purposes ("cookies", "web beacons," single-pixel gifs).
- We don't send you unsolicited communications for marketing purposes.
- If you declare yourself to be an advocate, your email address will not be shared with the person asking the question.
- If you ask an advocate a question, your email address will be included to the advocate so that advocate can respond to you.
- Account information is password-protected. All usernames are required to be unique.
- Landlord Review does not knowingly collect any information from persons under
the age of 13. If Landlord Review learns that a posting is by a person under the
age of 13, Landlord Review will remove that post.
- Landlord Review, or people who post on Landlord Review, may provide links to third
party websites, which may have different privacy practices. We are not
responsible for, nor have any control over, the privacy policies of those
third party websites, and encourage all users to read the privacy policies
of each and every website visited.

2. Data we collect
- We sometimes collect your email address, for purposes such as sending self-publishing and confirmation emails, authenticating user accounts, etc.
- Landlord Review does not store credit card information. Credit card transactions, when used by Landlord Review, are transmitted to a financial gateway, and we endeavor to protect the security of your payment information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
- We may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or comments or if you contact us directly. Please do not post any personal information on Landlord Review that you expect to keep private.

3. Data we store
- All review are stored in our database, even after "deletion," and may be archived elsewhere.
- Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely.
- Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.

4. Indexing, archiving, and displaying of Landlord Review postings by search engines and other sites
- Search engines and other sites not affiliated with Landlord Review - including archive.org,
google.com, and yahoo.com, among others, may index any portion of your reviews.

5. Circumstances in which Landlord Review may release information
- Landlord Review may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
- Landlord Review may also disclose information about its users to law enforcement officers or others, in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce our terms of use;
respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Landlord Review,
its users or the general public.
